This Position reports to:

R&D Global Unit Lead

In this role, you lead a senior technical team, each accountable for technology portfolios within their domains. You will guide them in delivering on their targets while shaping our future product architectures, including the path toward Autonomous Versatile Robotics (AVR).

You will be accountable for:

• People leadership, development and performance management.
• Driving technology direction end to end, from scenario based road mapping through deployment, grounded in business strategy and make or buy positioning.
• Building up future competencies and driving strategic collaboration with external suppliers, research institutions, and in the industry ecosystem.
• Facilitating technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role:

• Ph.D. or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science
• Solid track record in system architecture/technology development within large-scale product organizations.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial robotics technology stacks, or equivalent experience from adjacent industry.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and global stakeholder landscapes.
• Strong communication skills, able to distill complex technology into clear, actionable messaging for diverse audiences.
