Spiideo provides innovative solutions for automating sports video production, video analysis and streaming of all levels of sports - all over the world. The powerful cloud-based camera system uses AI to automatically capture high-quality, panoramic footage, enabling the delivery of high-quality analysis and feedback without manual filming. We are now recruiting a Live Operations Lead to our office in Malmö.

About the role

The Live Operations Lead oversees and coordinates all operational activities for Spiideo’s live game execution worldwide. This role ensures seamless execution across pre-game preparations, live monitoring, and post-game reporting. Acting as the central point of coordination, the Live Operations Lead maintains game-day readiness, drives operational consistency, and facilitates real-time communication and issue escalation between Support, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Staffing & Cost Management:

  • Plan and manage weekly staffing schedules for global Game Day Operations and AutoData activities.
  • Adjust resourcing dynamically based on the game calendar and projected volumes.
  • Track operational costs and optimize shift allocations to balance efficiency and coverage.

Game Day Operations Planning:

  • Coordinate the game day operations calendar.
  • Ensure all pre-game readiness checks are complete and signed off
  • Validate communication and escalation protocols for each event.

Operational Oversight:

  • Maintain visibility into live operations across regions during game days.
  • Monitor adherence to pre-defined operational KPIs
  • Lead incident coordination calls when required.
  • Support continuous improvement by analyzing post-game reports and driving process enhancements.

Team Management & Development:

  • Provide day-to-day direction and leadership to global operations teams.
  • Establish and maintain standardized procedures (SOP), performance targets, and training materials.
  • Build a culture of accountability, proactive communication, and operational excellence.
  • Identify development needs and coordinate upskilling initiatives for operators and support staff.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Provide daily & weekly operational reports (per account) to the wider organization.
  • Escalate risks and performance issues early, with suggested mitigations.
  • Ensure internal documentation, SOPs, and process tracking are maintained and up to date.
  • Consolidate post-game incident summaries and improvement actions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in live operations, broadcast operations, or SaaS production support.
  • Proven track record coordinating cross-regional or 24/7 operational teams.
  • Strong communication, planning, and incident management skills.
  • Ability to thrive under time-sensitive, high-visibility conditions.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, dashboards, or ticketing systems (e.g., Notion Grafana, Jira, Slack).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal); additional languages a plus.
