This Position reports to: Commercial & Pricing Processes and Tools Manager

We are looking for an AI Commercial Excellence Lead to drive enterprise-scale AI implementation across our commercial processes, ensuring that artificial intelligence and intelligent automation are embedded in a structured, scalable, and value-driven way — with Customer Centricity as a core design principle.

This role will coordinate AI-driven initiatives across Business Process Owners, Sales, IT/IS, and Digital teams, translating business challenges and customer journey insights into impactful AI-enabled solutions within quotation, pricing, and order management processes.

This role comes at a unique moment in our journey: while you initially join ABB, you will transition into our new standalone company following the planned carve out and ownership change to SoftBank Group. This offers the opportunity to combine the reach and expertise of ABB with the entrepreneurial challenge of building a best-in-class order management process for a new, independent organization.

The position is part of the Commercial and Pricing Excellence team and plays a critical role in shaping how ABB Robotics leverages AI to modernize commercial operations while maintaining strong governance, global process alignment, and measurable customer impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the AI roadmap for commercial processes (CPQ, Agreement, and Order Management) in line with business strategy and transformation goals.
• Identify, prioritize, and structure enterprise‑scale AI use cases that improve efficiency, decision‑making, and customer experience.
• Use customer‑journey insights to ensure AI solutions reduce friction, increase transparency, and enhance responsiveness during quotation and order stages.
• Orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration with Business Process Owners, Sales, IT/IS, Data teams, and external partners to deliver AI solutions within governance frameworks.
• Translate commercial and customer‑experience challenges into scalable AI and automation initiatives (e.g., intelligent CPQ, predictive analytics, automated document processing, workflow orchestration, generative AI).
• Lead pilots, validate business value, coordinate global rollouts, define KPIs, embed AI into global processes, support S/4HANA transformation, and promote AI literacy across commercial teams.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, data science, or related field.
• Proven experience leading AI or intelligent automation initiatives at enterprise scale.
• Experience in ERP or large-scale transformation environments (SAP experience is a plus).
• Mandatory experience in Customer Experience, Service Design, or Customer Journey Management within a B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial processes such as quotation, pricing, and order management.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer journey insights into AI-driven process improvements.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional transformation initiatives involving business, IT, and digital teams.
• Solid understanding of AI technologies such as machine learning, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and generative AI.
• Strategic, structured, and execution-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management capabilities and fluency in English
