Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer specializing in React and React Native to contribute to the development of modern digital platforms within the energy and IoT sectors.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building intuitive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces that interact with smart energy services, real-time data systems, and connected devices. This position involves close collaboration with design, backend development, and business teams to deliver innovative and reliable digital products.

The role also includes technical leadership responsibilities, guiding frontend development practices and supporting team members in maintaining high-quality standards across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React and React Native technologies.
• Create data-driven frontend solutions that interact with real-time systems, connected devices, and smart energy services.
• Establish and maintain frontend architecture standards, reusable component structures, and development best practices within the team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other frontend developers to support knowledge sharing and code quality.
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, highly available, and optimized for performance across devices and platforms.
• Collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and business stakeholders during requirement analysis, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Take ownership of frontend delivery processes, managing development tasks from concept and design through implementation and production deployment.

Required Experience

• Proven experience working as a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React and React Native.
• Experience building modern JavaScript-based web and mobile applications within scalable architectures.
• Experience working in cross-functional development teams involving designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders.

Education Requirement

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.

Additional Technical Expertise

• Experience working with state management frameworks such as Redux, Zustand, or similar tools.

• Understanding of performance optimization, application security, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience creating dashboards or mobile applications that visualize sensor or energy-related data.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience working in the energy industry, including electricity trading, energy service platforms, or cleantech solutions.
• Knowledge of smart energy services, such as energy monitoring systems, charging infrastructure, or energy optimization platforms.
• Experience developing IoT-related applications where frontend interfaces interact with connected devices.
• Familiarity with Next.js, Expo, or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience publishing mobile applications to Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with business systems such as IFS, Lime, or Probill.

Language Requirement

• Swedish – Proficient (spoken and written)
