Role Summary
This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden. Internal applicants from TRATON Group R&D are prioritized for this position. Candidates from the broader TRATON Group (including brands) are welcome to apply and may be reviewed based on business needs.
In the role as a Design Engineer for propulsion development, Cooling & Lubrication you will be a key player and have a central role in the development process from the first conceptual studies to the final verifications when introducing new products. Your main task will be the development of the parts for the oil and cooling system. You will be a part of a cross-functional team where you, together with our development engineers, production engineers, and purchasers, secure the high demands and expectations that is expected of our product regarding reliability, performance, and functionality.
Job Responsibilities
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in vehicle technology, mechanical design, or equivalent experience. You have some years of experience in the design area, and have knowledge of CATIA V5. If you have experience in automotive and an understanding of the gearbox and electric machine function, it is a merit.
