Role Summary

Strengthen the backbone of future transport solutions

At Scania, we continuously develop robust and sustainable transport solutions. As a Mechanical Simulation Engineer within Strength Analysis, you will play a key role in securing the structural integrity and long-term durability of our bus platforms. Through advanced simulation and analysis, you will ensure that our vehicles meet demanding performance, safety, and customer requirements in real-world operation.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing high-fidelity FEM models
• Performing structural, fatigue, and dynamic analyses
• Identifying potential failure modes and driving design optimization
• Supporting with complete range of simulations, from component installation to complete vehicle
• Supporting technical assessments towards body builder
• Method development within our technical field

Who You Are

• You have a Master's degree in Engineering
• You have good knowledge within the field of solid mechanics
• You have knowledge of FEM and preferably tools like Abaqus and Hyperworks (meriting)
• You have good communication skills and are fluent in English in speech and writing
• Coding skills are meritorious
• Solution-oriented mindset is important
