About our team

Welcome to the “Design, Review, Optimise and Model Management” team, within Transaction Monitoring (TM) Unit. The high focus on Financial Crime Prevention in the group gives the appointed candidate a unique and exciting opportunity to continue to create “best in class” TM control solutions and lay the foundations for the future. In this position, you will thrive at the crossroads of financial crime, data science, and model risk management to produce business-oriented results.

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions – and that we imagine you share with us.

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Document model design and outcomes, iterating with the analytics team to ensure accuracy, completeness and analysis of model assumptions, limitations and weaknesses
  • Provide hands-on support for prototyping tests and analytical methodologies
  • Mentor, uplift and collaborate within the analytics team to design, test and implement model SOPs, e.g. data lineage/governance, tuning and calibration, monitoring of model operations and outcome
  • Represent the organisation with high degree of professionalism in collaboration with both external and internal stakeholders

You’ll join a team where you can bring your talent and engagement to work in an international and dynamic environment. The role is based in either Tallinn, Warsaw, Stockholm, Copenhagen (Taastrup).

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

  • Extensive experience in model risk management, model governance and validation

Your experience and background:

  • An advanced degree in a quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent
  • Experience in Financial Crime/AML, e.g. transaction monitoring and technology suppliers (preferred)
  • Experience as model validator or quantitative risk analyst (preferred)

Soft skills:

  • Organised, structured and professional in taking initiative & work proactively under own direction
  • Assertive communication with ability to set the direction and achieve results
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
