We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in the SW factory / Continuous Delivery(CD) area. In this position you will work in the team responsible for the SW Delivery & Integration team and our Dataset managent solution. The team has the responsibility to automate the processes in our dataset management solutions. Main job is to automate today’s manual steps when it comes to artifact management, configuration management, simulation, system integration and release management. Building upon CI/CD principles. The assignment will entail quite a lot of communication with different stakeholders to understand todays process and then to explain new tools developed by the team to users.
We are working with a very scattered user group of release teams including Calibration engineers, simulation & data engineers, test engineers and product owners. You will join a dynamic group with the target to develop the most efficient embedded software development platform, which is used by more than 700 engineers around the world when developing software features for our customers. In other words we are a team delivering great products/enablers for our customer success. Together we develop the solutions for the world’s future sustainable and automatized transportation.
Main Activities are:
• Create new solutions for dataset management, dataset CI, dataset Automated testing and dataset simulation development.
• Create CI pipelines for Dataset management flows
• In-corporate complete system simulation tools in a continuous integration & delivery flow
• Support stakeholder teams with tool & pipeline issues
• Lead improvement work in SW Factory area
Requirements, experiences needed:
Many skills are valued, and different competences could be a match for the position. But the position will require many interactions with other engineering teams. So ability to communicate efficiently is important.
Valued skills (bold are strong plus):
• Hands on experience on Continuous Integration
• Knowledge in programming Python or similar is required.
• Knowledge in Jenkins and Groovy
• Knowledge in Git and Artifactory
• Knowledge in Matlab & Simulink
• Competences in embedded software architecture, design and verification
• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy and ability to work in a team is key.
• Open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage
