You will be responsible for the laboratory's quality system (delegated from the unit manager), and be a driving force for making things even better - both in systems and in practice. Your tasks will include, among other things: .identifying areas for improvement and following them up in a solution-oriented way .providing advice and guidance to professional leads, the unit manager and physician in quality-related matters .handling non-conformities and following up quality indicators .following up internal quality controls and analytical variation .participating in quality networks in Helse Fonna and internal professional meetings .contributing with change protocols and risk assessments .participating in routine operations and the on-call rota What qualifications are important in this role? .Norwegian authorization as a biomedical scientist .Good language skills are absolutely essential for safe patient treatment. Non-Nordic citizens must at minimum have passed the Bergen Test or another Norwegian test at B2 level. Documentation must be attached to the application. .A minimum of 5 years' experience as a biomedical scientist within medical biochemistry is desirable. What are we looking for in you?
