As a professional lead biomedical scientist at the Laboratory in Odda, you will hold an independent role with responsibility for POCT and sample collection, working closely with operations and patient care. You'll be part of a small, close-knit environment where you can have a real influence on everyday workflows. You will be permanently employed with us, while the professional lead responsibilities are a temporary assignment for a limited period.

What does the job involve?
Your tasks will include:
.Blood sampling
.Blood gas analysis
.Urine testing
.Glucose measurements
.Training staff at Odda Hospital in blood sampling and analysis of blood gases, urine, and glucose
.Participating in routine operations and the on-call rota
What qualifications are important in this role?
.Norwegian authorization as a biomedical scientist
.Strong language skills are essential for safe patient care. Non-Nordic citizens must have passed the Bergen Test or another approved Norwegian test at minimum B2 level. Documentation must be attached to the application.
