Our team, The Audio team at New Business, is looking for a new colleague, is it you? Your future team Think of a team were everyone in it has these things in common; We all have passion for product development, and we share the love of technical challenges. We are a team with mixed and broad experiences and competences who develop Linux based software for Axis Audio products We work with technologies such as audio processing, audio streaming, audio quality, among other things. Our code is mainly written in C but we also use other language such as Rust and Python. We also work with open-source components and standards such as GStreamer and Pipewire. What will you do here We are looking for someone to join our development team working on network audio products. Your tasks will include: * Designing and developing software features for our products * Troubleshooting and resolving issues, from our own applications to open-source components * Collaborating with other teams within Axis As an Embedded Software Engineer at Axis, you will play a vital role in developing our new products. Who you are You are a team player who takes initiative and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo to help us learn and improve-both in technology and ways of working. You dare to speak your mind but also listen carefully and respect your colleagues' opinions. You are accountable and pride in your work and accomplishments. We would love to hear that you have A couple of years of experience as a software developer with knowledge of C and Embedded Linux. It's a plus, but not mandatory, if you have: * Interest in audio technology * Knowledge of Agile development methodologies * Experience working in a Linux environment * Experience with REST APIs and Open APIs * Experience with Git and Yocto/BitBake * Understanding of network programming and protocols such as TCP/IP, RTP, HTTP, and WebSocket Who is your future manager?
