About the AssignmentWe are looking for an experienced Production Development Manager (Maintenance) to take a key leadership role at a highly automated manufacturing site within an international industrial environment.
The maintenance function is business-critical for stability, safety and operational efficiency, and you will be central in developing a more structured, data-driven maintenance organization aligned with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles.
You will lead a team of around 15 maintenance technicians spanning mechanical maintenance, cabling/calibration and automation.
The role combines strategic responsibility with operational presence, including budget ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
You will be part of the Technology Management Team and report to the Manager of Industrial Engineering.
Job Description- Lead, coach and develop the maintenance organization with clear ownership structures and ways of working
- Drive implementation of WCM-based maintenance methods (AM/PM)
- Own maintenance budget, cost follow-up and resource optimization
- Plan and follow up preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high equipment availability
- Perform systematic root cause analysis and drive reliability improvement initiatives
- Secure spare parts supply and manage lifecycle planning for equipment
- Lead preparations for equipment moves and support future production setup
- Develop technical solutions to increase reliability and extend equipment lifetime
- Ensure accurate documentation, maintenance plans and maintenance records
- Manage contractors and participate in service agreements
- Drive cultural change, competence development and cross-functional collaboration
Requirements- Several years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a senior maintenance leadership role within manufacturing
- Experience from highly automated production environments
- Proven experience of driving development aligned with WCM (AM/PM) or similar structured maintenance methodologies
- Strong leadership experience, including building and developing effective teams
- Experience in lifecycle management, preventive maintenance, reliability engineering and budget responsibility
- Technical education at university level or equivalent professional experience
- Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
