We are looking for a Power BI Developer to support a large, data-driven organization within the retail sector. In this role, you will help transform manual and fragmented reporting into a centralized and reliable analytics ecosystem by designing automated dashboards and a unified performance evaluation framework.

You will work end-to-end with dashboard development—from early solution design and data modeling to deployment and post-release support—ensuring strong governance, data quality, and auditability. The work is stakeholder-facing and focuses on creating consistent, trustworthy metrics that support trend analysis and continuous improvement.

• Design, build, and maintain automated Power BI dashboards that consolidate performance data across multiple entities.
• Connect to and model data from several sources to create a unified evaluation and KPI framework.
• Define and implement standardized metric definitions, drill-downs, and intuitive visualizations to improve data accessibility.
• Ensure data accuracy through validation, version control, and auditability across dashboards and semantic models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine KPIs, clarify requirements, and align success criteria.
• Contribute across the full delivery lifecycle: ideation, requirements analysis, functional design, estimation, sprint planning, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and support.
• Follow governance, quality guidelines, release procedures, and documentation standards for BI solutions.

• Strong understanding of Power BI architecture and best practices, including semantic models, DAX optimization, performance tuning, and report design standards.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query).
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure data services commonly used with Power BI (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Lake).
• Proven ability to design clean, scalable, maintainable data models and reports with focus on reusability and performance.
• Experience working with governance, quality guidelines, release procedures, and documentation standards in BI deliveries.
• Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical BI solutions, including facilitating discussions around data needs and KPIs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain metrics, models, and insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working in a collaborative development setup with version control and peer reviews.
