You will join a high-impact platform team in the insurance sector on a mission to transition from a traditional managed-service setup to a cloud-native operating model on Azure, with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices at the core. In this senior, hands-on role, you will help establish shared services and foundational capabilities, define golden paths, and drive operational excellence to improve developer experience while staying regulatory compliant.

• Own and evolve Azure landing zones, including policies, governance, security baselines, and cost controls
• Build and maintain shared platform capabilities such as centralized logging, backup policies, and security/governance tooling (e.g., Defender, Purview)
• Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules and patterns using Bicep for product teams to consume
• Create and maintain CI/CD templates and golden paths that make the secure, compliant path the easiest path
• Act as a maintainer in an inner source model by setting standards and reviewing contributions across the organization
• Collaborate closely with SRE on reliability, observability, and learnings from incidents
• Balance standardization with team autonomy through pragmatic decision-making
• Build self-service tooling that enables teams and improves the developer experience

• Senior-level experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, or a similar role
• Proven experience owning or leading a platform, landing zone, or cloud foundation
• Strong hands-on Azure experience building real infrastructure
• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Bicep
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Experience with policy-as-code and governance at scale, including Azure Policy
• Knowledge of Azure security tooling such as Defender, Purview, Key Vault, and Managed Identities
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate decisions to different audiences
• Familiarity with the Azure Well-Architected Framework in enterprise and hybrid environments
• Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services such as Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Hub, Log Analytics, and Azure AI Foundry
• Experience with at least one programming language used for automation purposes
• Swedish language proficiency is required

• Understanding of SRE practices such as SLOs, error budgets, and incident management
• Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization
• Experience working in regulated industries such as insurance or finance
