About the role:

As a Junior Front-End Developer at Bookboost, you’ll contribute to designing and building user-friendly, high-performance front-end applications that enhance the experience for hotel guests interacting with our platform. You will work with Angular, TypeScript, and modern web technologies to create responsive, efficient web interfaces.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills, work on interesting projects, and grow as part of a collaborative team. You’ll contribute to building out cutting-edge web technologies that power our guest engagement platform.

Tech Stack: Angular | TypeScript | (PostgreSQL - Merit but not required) | (Node.js - Merit but not required)

What you’ll own and deliver:

• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to build, test, and maintain high-quality front-end applications.
• Develop and implement responsive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript, ensuring smooth, intuitive user experiences.
• Work alongside backend developers to integrate frontend systems with APIs and databases, ensuring seamless operation.
• Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across all devices and browsers.
• Contribute to the design and development of reusable components and UI patterns that improve the developer experience and streamline future work.
• Participate in code reviews and support best practices for front-end development.
• Engage in continuous learning and development, improving your skills and contributing to the team’s knowledge base.

What makes you a great fit?

We’re looking for someone who brings the following to the table:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks, ideally Angular, to build dynamic web applications.
• Familiarity with modern build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, npm, Git).
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate with them.
• Comfortable with version control, using Git for collaboration and code management.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and an interest in creating engaging, user-friendly interfaces.
• A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Bonus: Experience with Node.js or PostgreSQL.
