We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner to join a strategically important assignment within Cloud & Infrastructure. This role is central to driving a cloud-first strategy, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will take technical ownership of the cloud and hosting platform, shaping the roadmap while working hands-on together with engineers. The role requires a strong background from development and infrastructure engineering, combined with the ability to lead without formal authority. In this role, you will lead the technical strategy, design, and implementation of cloud and hybrid infrastructure services. You will work closely with engineering, data, network, and digital product teams to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable solutions across both cloud and on-prem environments. Given the size and maturity of the team, this is a hands-on role where you contribute as an engineer while also owning prioritization, technical direction, and stakeholder alignment. This is a long-term, high-impact assignment for someone who wants to shape modern cloud infrastructure while staying close to the technology. Key responsibilities - Cloud and Infrastructure Ownership
- Own the technical roadmap for cloud and infrastructure platforms, driving a cloud-first approach with strong emphasis on automation and Infrastructure as Code. Ensure high reliability, security, and performance across environments.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, data and analytics, network services, and other technical stakeholders to integrate infrastructure solutions into the broader application landscape. Enable efficient workflows and automation pipelines using source control and CI/CD tools.
- Act as a technical role model and informal mentor, promoting best practices within cloud automation, IaC, and DevOps. Drive continuous improvement and technical innovation across teams.
- Evaluate cloud services, tools, and vendors to balance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have:
- Minimum 6 years of experience within cloud and infrastructure engineering
- Strong experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code in Azure environments
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale automation initiatives
- Experience designing and implementing monitoring and observability solutions across multiple environments
- Strong collaboration experience with developers, operations, security, and business stakeholders
- Ability to align technical platform strategy with business needs
- Azure architecture and services including compute, networking, storage, automation, and container platforms
- Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible
- DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using platforms like GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Zabbix, Grafana, and Prometheus
- Product ownership practices including backlog management, prioritization, and roadmap planning
