We are now looking for an Analytics Engineer to further strengthen our Data Analysis team in Lund. Your future team You will be an important part of the Data Analysis team where we enable data-driven development for Axis. The Team consists of experienced Data Engineers and Data Scientists responsible for processing, storing, and analyzing anonymized data from IoT devices. We provide solutions to access, analyze, and visualize data. The area is of strategic importance for Axis with great development potential moving forward. Our stakeholders are within R&D, Product management, and Operations. What you'll do as an Analytics Engineer Your typical day at Axis will include one or more of the following: * Design, build and scale analytics from raw data to useful information. * Build and monitor data pipelines in Dagster. * Develop and improve dbt models and participate in code reviews. * Collaborate with stakeholders regarding ongoing requests and bringing new ideas. * Collaborate with teammates in hands-on sessions to solve analysis tasks together. * Engage in our planning sessions to keep the team aligned, maintain momentum, and quickly address any issues. Who we are looking for * You are excited about tech and data. * You are highly skilled in working with databases, for example ClickHouse (but also PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). * You are used to work with orchestration tools (such as Dagster). * You are proficient in data modeling and dbt. * You are comfortable in Python and SQL. * You are experienced in Linux + Git and CICD workflow. You are curious and want to learn new things and share your knowledge with others. You are a structured and self-going person that likes to take responsibility for your tasks, and you are good at seeing the big picture. You recognize the importance of networking with others, inside as well as outside the team. You have a suitable education like Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar. As teamwork is crucial for Axis, we believe it is important that you can contribute to a good team spirit promoting a creative and stimulating work environment. We see it as a bonus if you have * Experience in working closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists/Analysts. * Experience in visualization/BI-tool (ex. Apache Superset or other). * Interest in Generative AI and how to leverage it for self-service analytics.
