Join an extremely exciting High Pulsed Power project!
We bring technology mainly used for fusion research and nuclear testing into the field of mining and rock fracturing. This could become the first large scale commercial application for high pulsed power.
Your team
We are a group of specialized professionals working closely together to develop ground-breaking technology with the potential to disrupt the industry. As a Senior Pulsed Power Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and measurement of sophisticated high voltage pulsed power systems. Our applications are unique, offering technical challenges that combine high voltage, fast pulses, mechanical robustness, and reliability.
Your Mission
- Lead the design and optimization of high voltage pulsed power systems (electrical and/or mechanical aspects).
- Conduct theoretical and hands-on work, from simulation and prototyping to laboratory experiments and measurements.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for energy transfer, impedance matching, and rugged system design.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze results, and contribute to ongoing research and product development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to solve complex engineering challenges.
Your Profile
You are a curious and adaptable professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, always eager to learn new skills and share your expertise with colleagues. With a broad technical perspective and a proactive approach, you tackle complex challenges with creativity and determination.
Your senior-level experience in electrical, mechanical, or measurement engineering—ideally with a background in high pulsed power or high voltage systems—has equipped you with a proven track record of taking designs from concept to prototype and product. You hold a degree in engineering, physics, or a related field, and have hands-on experience with high voltage measurements, laboratory work, and designing custom solutions. Your knowledge spans key areas such as impedance matching, electrical fatigue, flashover prevention, partial discharge, and failure analysis, making you a valuable contributor to innovative projects at the forefront of technology.
