Arbetsbeskrivning
Our proprietary vanadium solid-state battery (VSSB) technology defines a new class of battery energy storage infrastructure, delivering ultra-safe, high-power solutions through a manufacturing model designed for rapid global scale-up.
In parallel, we are also developing zinc-ion battery technologies for a wide range of applications.
We are now looking for a Senior Material Engineer to join our growing team in Rosersberg, Sweden, and play a key role in developing, industrializing, and scaling next-generation battery technologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conceiving, developing, and protecting novel battery and separator concepts for vanadium solid state batteries (VSSB) and zinc-ion chemistries.
- Designing and developing single cells and separators, aligning separator properties with targeted cell performance requirements.
- Building and iterating hands-on prototypes to validate designs, materials, and performance.
- Analyzing and optimizing cell manufacturing processes, including materials selection and equipment and process parameters.
- Developing and implementing new test protocols and characterization methods to evaluate separator and cell properties, including assessment of new separator candidates.
- Anticipating, identifying, and mitigating potential issues in cell components that may impact battery performance and applications, applying a DFMEA-driven approach.
- Collaborating closely with academic and industrial partners to accelerate development, validation, and technology maturation.
