Grow with us
Shape the Intelligence of Tomorrow’s Networks.Be part of the team defining AI native 6G.
About this Opportunity:
Ericsson’s 6G vision is central to how society and industry will communicate in the 2030s—enabling sustainable, secure, and intelligent connectivity at global scale. Artificial Intelligence is a foundational pillar of this vision, transforming how networks are designed, operated, and optimized.
At Ericsson Research, our AI organization operates at the intersection of cutting edge machine learning, advanced reasoning, and real world network systems. We work with live network data, influence global standards, and turn research into technologies deployed worldwide.
We are now looking for an AI Researcher who wants to work on problems that matter—problems whose solutions will shape the future of global connectivity.
What You Will Do
• Research, design, and evaluate AI/ML concepts for future radio access networks and AI native systems
• Explore and apply emerging AI technologies to autonomous, large scale telecom networks
• Develop algorithms, models, and simulation frameworks for next generation network intelligence
• Translate research ideas into prototypes, publications, patents, and standards contributions
• Collaborate closely with experts across radio systems, networking, and hardware platforms
• Work with real world constraints—performance, scalability, robustness, and energy efficiency
• Engage with internal and external partners across academia and industry
You will be trusted with meaningful responsibility from day one and supported by senior researchers who are leaders in their fields.
Skills you bring
You are curious, driven, and motivated by solving complex problems with real world impact. You enjoy working in interdisciplinary environments and are comfortable bridging theory and practice.
