About the role

In this senior commercial leadership role, you will strengthen and grow Aptiv’s EDS business with major Nordic automotive OEMs while leading the local sales team in Gothenburg. You will manage long-term strategic accounts, drive new business development, and navigate a highly technical and fast-evolving product landscape.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you lead, mentor and motivate a team of automotive sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets while managing and growing strategic accounts. You drive the sales strategy to increase market share, identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Nordic region, and maintain strong commercial relationships with both existing and potential customers. You act as the primary commercial contact for key OEMs, oversee complex change management processes, collaborate closely with global teams, and build long-term partnerships supported by a deep industry network.

About you

You are an inclusive, relationship-driven leader with strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate complex technical environments. You thrive in strategic sales work, enjoy building high-performing teams, and bring a deep understanding of the Nordic automotive ecosystem. You communicate clearly, act with confidence, and build trust across cultures and functions.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, ideally in automotive or manufacturing
  • Proven track record in leading regional/global sales teams and complex negotiations
  • Strong knowledge of EDS, manufacturing, cost structures, and supply chain
  • Strategic thinker with experience driving global customer strategies for growth
  • Advanced commercial and financial skills, including P&L, pricing, and cost analysis
  • Skilled in building and mentoring high-performing, customer-focused teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Collaborative across functions: engineering, operations, and product development
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven in a dynamic global setting
  • Fluency in English; strong Swedish language skills highly preferred
