The role is based in our head Office in Norrköping, beautifully located by the Strömmen river and only a few minutes from the central station. Here, colleagues within sales, business development, market analysis, logistics and customer service work closely together in an international environment.

The role involves extensive travelling within Sweden and the Baltics as you work closely with both existing and new customers.

Your future challenge

As Sales Manager within Board and Paper, you will play a key role in developing and strengthening Holmen’s business within the packaging segment across the Nordic market. You will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships, developing existing business and identifying new opportunities with a focus on profitable and sustainable growth.

This position combines strategic sales development with a hands-on and customer-oriented approach. You will independently manage your customer portfolio while collaborating closely with segment owners, customer service, business development, marketing communications and sales colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and driving sales within the board and packaging segment
  • Strengthening existing customer relationships and creating new business opportunities
  • Identifying market opportunities and proactively managing sales pipelines
  • Creating tailored customer offers based on Holmen’s strategy and business targets
  • Working with forecasting, customer plans and business follow-up
  • Initiating and participating in local marketing and customer activities
  • Maintaining CRM processes and working in line with Holmen Board and Paper procedures

To succeed in this role

We are looking for someone who is business-oriented, relationship-focused and motivated by developing long-term customer partnerships. You enjoy working independently, taking initiative and creating structure while also collaborating effectively with others.

We would like you to have:

  • Experience in B2B sales with a successful track record in relationship-driven sales
  • Strong market and segment knowledge within packaging and board is essential and knowledge of paper will also be an adventage.
  • Experience in creating and driving customer plans and business development activities
  • The ability to balance commercial focus with structure and administration
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
  • A valid driving licence and passport

It is considered an advantage if you have education within business or marketing as well as experience in negotiations within the board or packaging industry.

As a person, you are collaborative, proactive and persistent. You stay updated on market trends and identify opportunities to create value for both customers and the business.
