Ericsson AB Join our Team About this opportunity: A cornerstone for our Cloud Native solutions is the Application Development Platform (ADP) – a collaborative way of developing software across Ericsson. It is the way forward at Ericsson for developing cloud native applications, following a modern design pattern: microservice architecture based on container technology and Kubernetes orchestration. We are now looking for an experienced software developer who is able to contribute and drive the complete development flow from architectural study to implementation and creating and maintaining microservices in a secure and efficient way. The team you will work in is currently working in the ADP Manageability Area with Configuration Management (CM) services. What you will do: * Further develop the Manageability CM microservices, or create new ones, based on the strategic direction for our autonomous networks journey. * Actively collaborate with our Systems and Technology department to influence and adapt to the strategic decisions taken. * Be a lead designer and advocate for a professional software development workflow with strong Software Craftsmanship mindset among the teams in the Manageability area. * Contribute to AI initiatives and drive Improvements and innovations. The skills you bring: * An innovative mindset exploring the latest technology and AI tools provided to our developers to find ways to improve our development process, quality and efficiency. * Experience in crafting cloud native microservices using Docker and deploying in Kubernetes using Helm. Prior ADP knowledge is a plus. * Strong FCAPS architectural understanding in general and Configuration Management specifically. * Deep understanding of the modeling language YANG. * Be able to develop in any programming language and have recent experience in Go and Python. * Wide knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins and engines work flow, like Spinnaker.
