We are looking for a "Diagnostic Method Engineer" for a global company in Södertälje, Stockholm.
Start is in January 2026, 2 years limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
Role Focus & Competence Areas
The role is suited for an early-to-mid level engineer with hands-on technical responsibilities, working closely with cross-functional teams.
The assignment primarily covers the following competence areas:
- Electromechanical Engineering – integration of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
- Software Development – development and support of embedded or system-related software
- JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Hardware and System Integration – understanding and contribution to complete system functionality
Responsibilities
- Develop and support electromechanical system solutions
- Contribute to software development related to system functionality
- Collaborate with hardware, electronics, and system engineers to ensure robust system integration
- Participate in troubleshooting, analysis, and continuous improvement activities
- Support development, verification, and validation of system solutions
- Work in accordance with established engineering standards, processes, and quality requirements
Requirements
- Technical background in electromechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or similar
- Experience or strong interest in software development within industrial or embedded systems
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a structured engineering environment
- Analytical, quality-focused, and solution-oriented mindset
- Troubleshooting support for the mechanics in our diagnostic tool, SWS using JavaScript/TypeScript and React and test the implementations on test rigs or vehicles in our workshop.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Relevant professional experience aligned with an early-to-mid level engineering role
Good to have:
C/CE/D driver´s license
This role requires fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
This is a full-time consultant position in Södertälje, Stockholm through Incluso.
Start is in January 2026, 2 years limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
This role is 100% onsite in Södertälje.
