Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Collaborate closely with the architecture team and business stakeholders to drive development toward a defined target data architecture.
- Support both new initiatives and existing systems by guiding teams on how to apply architectural principles and best practices.
- Design and evolve data-driven solutions that enable sustainable, efficient, and user-focused services.
- Contribute to the organization’s ongoing Data Journey by shaping frameworks, policies, and architectural capabilities.
- Act as an advisor to business and IT stakeholders, clearly communicating architectural decisions and their impact.
- Ensure that architectural designs meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and user expectations.
- Work within an environment undergoing a major digital transformation, helping modernize data platforms and ecosystems.
- Provide direction in areas such as data modeling, information governance, data warehousing, cloud solutions, and integration.
What you bring:
- A degree in Data and Information Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong background in data evolution, including Data Marts, Enterprise Data Warehousing, Big Data, and cloud technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing Data Architecture capabilities such as frameworks, policies, instructions, and technical solutions.
- Strong analytical ability and expertise in understanding complex business needs and translating them into architectural solutions.
- Proactive learning mindset with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, particularly within Custody & Investment areas.
- Deep expertise in conceptual and logical information modeling, including Business Object Modeling (BOM).
- Experience with modeling frameworks, governance structures, methods, and tools.
- Ability to manage or configure repositories for model outputs, ensuring data integrity and usability.
- Familiarity with financial industry standards and best practices for information modeling.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools, data integration, physical data model implementation, and data warehousing—preferably in cloud environments.
- Pragmatic approach to architectural decisions with clear communication of trade-offs, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent communication and networking skills across business and IT domains.
- Fluency in English and Swedish.
- (Meriting) Experience as a Solution Architect within banking or financial services.
- (Meriting) Ability to explain complex concepts simply, prioritize effectively, and work with a practical, solution-focused mindset.
- (Meriting) Strong team spirit, collaboration skills, and ability to work in an international environment.
- (Meriting) Knowledge of the financial sector or post-trade processes
