In this exciting journey we are looking for a Packaging Engineering Developer, who is passionate about driving and executing development projects connected to the packaging agenda.

Job Description

Now you have the opportunity to contribute to IKEA’s transformation into becoming an even more affordable, sustainable ​and accessible home furnishing retailer in an omnichannel reality​.

In this role you will be working hands on with implementing IKEA’s future packaging concepts & handling materials across our value chain.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

• Working across different stakeholders (both internal and external) executing the packaging & identification direction throughout IKEA.
• You will co-operate closely with Categories, Range Areas, Retail franchise and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person who is not afraid of the unknown and can work in a wide network across the whole value chain.

You come with a passion for co-operation cross functionally and you are able to lead topics with indirect leadership.

More specifically, we wish that you bring;

• Knowledge and understanding of the IKEA business model, concept, strategic landscape and IKEA Ways of working, through work experience from different parts of the IKEA value chain.
• 
  
• Good communication skills with the ability to translate data into action.
• 
  
• Broad knowledge and understanding of customer needs as shall be met by existing and future IKEA customer meeting points and IKEA supply chain.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to connect and inspire multiple stakeholders.
• 
  
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
