Role summary:

Following PMI’s acquisition of Swedish Match, in the context of the integration of Swedish Match North Europe into PMI’s standard operating model, the role will contribute to the successful transition of IT Operations in the Nordics by leading the IT systems deployment activities.

The role acts as the local project lead and includes both coordinating the local IT project team in the commissioning, configuration, testing, deployment and hyper-care activities to setup the systems running at the factory and the engagement and facilitating the transition to the future IT run & support team, in charge once the project is completed. The role will work closely with both Business and IT project teams on-site, as well as IT Global organization for central systems take-over and local deployment. The role, acting as the local IT referent, is key to the success of the on-site activities of the project.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

• Coordinating Team Activities: Coordinate the team executing the testing, deployments, validation, and commissioning activities to go-live the systems required to run the factory.
• Local Point of Contact: Act as the local point of contact for the business project team on-site and the face of IT at the factory for the project.
• Continuously plan, execute, monitor the progress and react the necessary activities for the team to execute to ensure maximum agility and cope with project variability and speed.
• While deploying, ensure the local specifications documentation is being set up according ITPF and relevant guidelines to ensure a cyber
• Oversee and escalate issues and dependencies of the IT setup for the OPS application landscape
• Support in selecting the future local run & Support IT team, onboarding, growing and developing the next high-performing IT operations team for the factory, focused on performance, agility, efficiency.
• Maintain active contact and communication with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Foster collaboration between various teams in Ops organizations, IT T&PE, IT OPS.
• Proactively identify business requirements not supported by the Global IT Portfolio, communicate and agree the solution with the Global function.
• Ensure that IT expenditures are properly documented, budgeted, and approved in line with Project requirements.
• Communicate progress and challenges via structured reports and effective presentations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business/IT management, with a focus on operations and transformation
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of IT Operations Systems and infrastructure
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and problem solving.
