Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Industrial Data Architect to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Define and implement industrial data architecture for the factory data platform, spanning OT, IoT, edge, IT, and cloud environments.
- Design scalable and interoperable data pipelines and APIs to ensure seamless data flow across MES, machine time-series, quality, asset, and maintenance systems.
- Develop and manage API-based integrations between factory systems, enterprise applications, and cloud services, enabling secure and efficient data exchange.
- Enable combined access to operational data to support insights, analytics, visualization, root cause analysis, and other production improvement initiatives.
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards across OT, IT, and cloud layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT/OT architects, engineers, and data scientists, to drive architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Support implementation of semantic technologies, data virtualization, unified namespaces, and knowledge graphs to enhance contextualized access and interoperability.
- Provide strategic guidance on industrial data platform design to future-proof factory operations and support digital transformation initiatives.
What you bring:
- Proven experience as an industrial data architect with a track record of consulting on manufacturing data platforms.
- Expertise in industrial data modeling and contextualization using standards such as ISA-95 and ISO/IEC 81346.
- Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, semantic technologies, and unified namespace concepts (e.g., MQTT).
- Experience supplying manufacturing-related data for analytics, visualization, and AI/ML applications.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence architectural decisions.
- Familiarity with streaming data platforms, factory automation systems, and cloud-native industrial solutions is a plus.
