As a Senior Full Stack Developer at PLAYipp, you are a key technical contributor responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining our market-leading Content Management System for digital signage. You combine technical expertise with seniority to deliver solutions, drive innovation, and ensure code quality.

Your work directly impacts tens of thousands of users globally. 

Architecture & Development

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions using TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Participate in innovative AI/data engineering in development operations, interface, and tech stack.
• Build full-stack features from the database layer through to the user interface.
• Participate in architectural decisions for new features and system improvements.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability across the platform.

Team Collaboration

• Lead by example in code quality, communication, and professionalism.
• Share knowledge through documentation and workshops.
• Help team members grow their technical skills and career development.
• Foster a collaborative, learning-oriented team culture.

Technical Leadership

• Advocate for best practices in software development.
• Help establish and refine team processes and workflows.
• Contribute an expert perspective during architecture and design reviews.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with the Product team to understand requirements and provide technical input
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement exceptional user experiences
• Work with the QA team to ensure comprehensive testing and quality
• Participate in customer feedback sessions to understand user needs

System Evolution

• Balance feature development with technical improvements
• Plan and execute architectural refactoring when needed
• Ensure scalability for international expansion

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, with demonstrated progression in technical complexity and responsibility.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with a proven track record of delivering production applications.
• Deep understanding of modern web application architecture, including RESTful APIs
• Proficient with relational databases (MySQL or similar), including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Continuous Development

• Stay very current with the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
• Deepen knowledge of system architecture and design patterns.
• Expand expertise in performance optimization.
• Learn emerging technologies relevant to our stack.

• Primarily based at Playipp HQ in central Gävle.
• Hybrid work arrangement with remote flexibility as agreed on.
• Core collaboration hours for team synchronization.
