Are you a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in E-plan? Do you want to help shape the future of electrified marine solutions and promote a healthy planet for future generations? We are currently seeking a team member to enhance our Marine Electrification business line.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design in our customer projects, contributing with expertise and innovative design solutions for new products under development. Working closely with the project team, varying in size depending on the project type, you will also take part in sales support and aftermarket activities. Furthermore, you will specify components for procurement and installation, coordinate with customers, classification societies, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery, and participate in FAT and support SAT during the delivery phase. Main responsibilities will be to:

• Design and develop electrical and automation systems.
• Specify and integrate components, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Verify, approve, and provide input on supplier design drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and classification societies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct inspections, FATs, and support SATs during delivery and commissioning.
• Contribute to evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
• Support project planning, progress reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Background and skills

• Educational background in electrical engineering, automation engineering or relevant work experience in similar positions
• Good knowledge in ePlan P8
• Knowledge of standards used during design and installation.
• English language: fluent in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience of marine electrical design and installation
