The Global Technical Support team is a central part of our organization, based at our headquarters in Gothenburg. Here, you will work together as a team in a dynamic and international setting. The department plays a crucial role in providing technical support and developing product customizations for our subsidiaries and customers worldwide. Through close collaboration with product quality and product management, you actively contribute to improving and developing our products for the future.

About the Role

In the role as Global Technical Product Support, you will become a key player in our support function. Your mission is to assist subsidiaries and customers with solutions for both hardware and software, always with a focus on top-class service and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming cases via our support system and ensure professional management of customer expectations.
• Provide support through our support system, or by phone, to identify and propose tailored solutions based on customer needs.
• Assist with support in software development by interpreting, modifying, and writing code according to customer requirements.
• Act as a technical expert on Allgon’s products and software, supporting our subsidiaries with troubleshooting.
• Document customer interactions thoroughly and contribute to the development of our internal knowledge database.
• Stay up to date on new product versions and industry trends.
• Travel to our subsidiaries when needed to carry out specific assignments or projects.
• When required, conduct technical training for personnel at our subsidiaries.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is driven, curious, quality-minded, and humble – qualities we highly value in the team. You have a genuine technical interest, particularly in electronics and programming, and are motivated by delivering first-class customer service. You enjoy technical problem-solving and have a strong desire to understand and improve technical systems.

Key qualifications include:

• A university or vocational degree in programming, electronics, or a related field
• Programming skills are required – preferably in C/Python
• Strong knowledge and interest in electronics, such as circuit boards and components
• Experience working in MS Office and document management systems
• Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written

Meritorious:

• At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar technical role
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Skills in Adobe Illustrator
• Skills in JIRA Service Management
• Some experience managing small improvement projects
• CAD (Fusion 360)
