Leader of Bastard Burgers

We will do our best to help you develop, but we also expect your commitment and curiosity, and in this way we create continuous learning.

We want to work with you who love people and food as much as we do. As a restaurant manager at Bastard Burgers, you are responsible for ensuring that the service is of a high standard and that both guests and employees are satisfied and happy. You lead the team with the right attitude and good energy. You have experience from previous restaurant or service professions and understand that there will be stressful moments but that the service/food must always be excellent. You will have overall responsibility for scheduling, purchasing, personnel costs and basically everything that happens in the restaurant. The work involves a large operational focus, kitchen and cash register, with administrative elements where you are expected to take a high level of ownership.  Operational work in operations approximately 80% of the working time.

Overall responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for the results and the unit as a whole – in relation to set key figures
• Train and recruit staff
• Responsible for measuring, evaluating, developing and reporting the results in their unit
• Systematically follow up on internal systems
• Establish safe working conditions and follow internal systematic work environment work
• Ensure food safety is followed in accordance with hygiene regulations
• Actively work with and implement Bastard Burger's equal treatment plan and values at their unit

• Educational requirements: none
• Have previous experience in a restaurant or service profession, preferably with personnel and budget responsibility
• You must be able to speak Swedish and/or English, proficiency in both languages is an advantage
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Desirable behaviors and experiences: 
• Has excellent communication skills
• Good organizational and leadership skills, where you are structured and responsible
• Motivated by and able to motivate employees to work towards set goals
• Have a commitment to Bastard Burgers and are happy to keep an eye on us from now on!
• We would love for you to live in the vicinity of the unit.

Bastard Burgers is a young and fast-growing company that was founded in Luleå, Sweden, in 2016. Today, there are more than 70 Bastard Burgers restaurants throughout Sweden and additional restaurants in Finland and Norway.
