Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer – Verification & Validation to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Plan, execute, and document verification and validation activities in accordance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Perform testing across multiple levels, from individual components to complete systems, in both HIL/VIL environments and real vehicles.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure quality, functionality, and performance requirements are met.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of test methods and product quality.
• Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results in compliance with ASPICE and customer standards.
• Support the integration of new tools and methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience as a senior software test engineer within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge in both component-level and system-level validation.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent expertise in software test strategies, planning, and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of ASPICE processes and their application in automotive testing environments.
• Previous hands-on experience working within VCC test and validation frameworks.
• Valid Swedish driver’s license (B).
• Proficiency in using key testing tools, including:
• CAN tools: CANoe, CANalyzer
• Test development: vTestStudio
• Requirement and traceability: SystemWeaver
• Documentation and issue tracking: JIRA, Confluence
• Product data management: TCe (Teamcenter)
• Calibration and measurement: ETAS INCA
• Debugging and trace analysis: Lauterbach
• Vehicle communication and diagnostics: Carcom
• Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
