Assignment description

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for one of our Client.

Position Summary:

Mechanical design work/tasks across the product life cycle for Petrol chainsaws.

Tasks

• Develop and maintenance of parts and subsystems according to Requirements, Lessons Learned and Design Guidelines.
• Detailed component design, 3D CATIA (CAD-system) according to client methodology
• Take active role in validation of parts/concepts EP-series, prototypes and design samples.
• Ensure DFM/DFA/DFAA
• Verification of design by simulation: Moldex, FEA, & Tolerance analysis
• Establish geometric specification (drawings) Including updates after Internal and External Drawing Reviews.
• ECR/ECO handling for assigned components/subsystems
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders.
• Keep Lead Engineer, Platform Owner and Line Manager updated with status of work.
• Documentation according to process described in the client PCP.

Required skills

• Good knowledge in Catia V5 & SmarTeam or Team center
• High experience of Product development & Mechanical engineering.
• Good knowledge in Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Good knowledge in root cause analysis
• Open-minded and searching for collaboration and knowledge.
