Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design, build, and integrate scalable and secure data solutions using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytical and operational use cases.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align data solutions with organizational goals.
• Write complex SQL queries and optimize data structures for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Manage technical debt, implement performance improvements, and monitor platform health and FinOps metrics.
• Work with solution designers and other engineers to ensure sustainable and maintainable architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor colleagues, and proactively address technical blockers.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Operate primarily in a cloud-based environment with Microsoft Azure as the main platform.

What you bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Strong skills in data modeling, with the ability to design efficient and scalable data structures.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and data warehouse solutions.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
