Comsys was founded in 2001 by a small group of Swedish engineers who believed they could make power perfect - or at least as close to perfect as possible. Today, we’re a well-established and rapidly growing cleantech company, active across multiple segments. To support our growing product portfolio, we are looking for a Technical Writer with a genuine interest in technology and a passion for making complex information easy to understand.

About the Role

As a Technical Writer at Comsys, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality product documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other experts to ensure that our content is accurate, compliant, and user-focused.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user manuals and installation instructions.
• Convert complex technical information into clear, structured, and user-friendly content.
• Establish and maintain best practices and guidelines for technical documentation.
• Ensure documentation complies with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate translation of technical documentation through in-house personnel, partners, or translation agencies.
• Support internal departments such as service, sales and marketing with developing documentation including datasheets, whitepapers, and other marketing materials.

If you’re interested in compliance and quality management, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute in these areas as well.

Tools You’ll Work With

• SolidWorks Composer and Visualize
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
• Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role within a technology-driven company.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish (both required).
• Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable collaborating across teams.
• Experience in compliance documentation or Content Management System is a plus.
