Responsibilities

• Develop embedded Linux firmware: bringup, devices drivers, features, diagnostics
• Work with various types of sensors, like cameras and radar units
• Implement efficient low-level code in C and C++
• Debug and root-case a variety of hardware and software issues
• Optimize platform for speed, resource efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams all the way from system design to production
• Tinker, prototype, and experiment

Requirements

Must have:

• Master's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant career experience
• Extensive experience with embedded Linux development
• Strong proficiency in C and/or C++
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals - process scheduler, memory management, concurrency/synchronization, memory allocation, file systems
• Passion for performance, optimization and reliability
• Strong debugging skills in kernel context
• A hands-on mindset — you love building, experimenting and making things work

Nice to have:

• Experience with RTOS firmware development
• Familiarity with electronics and hardware debugging tools, ex. oscilloscopes, logic analysers, etc.
• Understanding of networking protocols, ex. TCP/IP, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.
• Familiarity with the CUDA toolkit
• Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries
