We’re seeking an experienced Simulation Test Engineer with solid expertise in Altair tools to join our dynamic automotive engineering team. In this role, you’ll perform advanced simulations to assess and enhance vehicle performance, safety, and durability. You’ll work closely with design, testing, and validation teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct simulation and analysis using Altair HyperWorks, OptiStruct, and related tools.
• Develop and execute test models to evaluate structural integrity and system performance.
• Analyze and interpret results, providing clear recommendations to design teams.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure simulation accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain testing documentation and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
• 4+ years of experience in simulation and testing within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in Altair tools (e.g., HyperMesh, Radioss, OptiStruct, or HyperView).
• Strong understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) and mechanical system behavior.
• Good communication skills in English (required); Swedish is meritorious.
