The team you will be working with is a DevOps team with high autonomy and freedom to operate. You are encouraged to find improvements in all areas of SW development and to spend the time to make things right from the start. The backlog for those teams is brought up from our stakeholders, feedback from the developers in Volvo Group. You will help your team to evolve and to deliver a highly efficient CI pipeline with a strong DevOps mindset and the main goal is to improve the developer experience. The team is working according to the Agile/SCRUM principles with recurring sprint planning’s and a product backlog. The team is an integral part of the larger Software Factory group, also including a Continuous Integration support team in Bangalore. Your role will be to take a senior developer role in this team, you will be helping the team to deliver on commitments that will support our way to a highly efficient toolchain for our software developers at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. This role requires a broad technical knowhow and the ability to build a good network to work with as we will provide solutions to many different stakeholders. ________________________________________ As a DevOps Engineer, your mission is to design, develop, and maintain our continuous integration and deployment toolchain. What You’ll Do • Build & Maintain CI/CD Pipelines – Design and improve the toolchains that enable continuous integration, testing, and deployment of embedded software. • Automate Everything – Drive automation for software testing, deployment, and infrastructure management. • Collaborate & Innovate – Work closely with developers and testers to create efficient and scalable solutions. • Monitor & Optimize – Ensure reliability, speed, and security in our build and deployment processes. ________________________________________ Who You Are • A team player who iterates solutions and shares knowledge with colleagues. • Someone who lives and breathes agile, DevOps, and test-driven development—and most importantly, puts these concepts into action. • Excited about working with technologies like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud, and CI/CD tools. • Eager to learn new technologies to continuously grow and improve. • Extensive Coding experience. • Experience as architect/technical lead or similar • Previous Experience in Automotive software development toolchains will be highly valued
