Senior Purchaser – Beijer Ref Support Norway Our client, Beijer Ref in Langhus, is looking for a skilled Senior Purchaser to join their team. About Beijer Ref: Beijer Ref is a global leader in commercial and industrial refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning solutions. The company operates through a decentralized model, allowing local management to make key decisions while receiving strategic support from the head office in Malmö. With approximately 6,000 employees and operations in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, Beijer Ref focuses on wholesale and distribution, complemented by in-house production (OEM). In Norway, Beijer Ref Support Norway AS provides support to the sales companies Børresen Cooltech AS and Schløsser Møller Kulde AS. The Norwegian team consists of around 50 employees, with half working in Beijer Ref Support Norway across seven locations. About the Role: As Senior Purchaser, you will take on both strategic and operational responsibilities, working closely with suppliers, management, and warehouse teams to optimize procurement processes. You will also lead a team of two, fostering collaboration and efficiency within the department. The position reports directly to Supply Chain Manager. Key Responsibilities: • • Lead and manage procurement activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective sourcing. • • Oversee demand planning to optimize inventory levels and supply chain efficiency. • • Collaborate closely with management, warehouse staff, and key stakeholders, including suppliers. • • Lead and support a team of two, creating a positive and high-performing work environment. • • Drive process improvements and enhance supplier relationships. Key Qualifications: • 3–5 years of experience in a similar procurement role, ideally within supply chain or logistics. • Strong expertise in demand planning and supplier management. • Experience in leading a team, even in an informal capacity, is a plus. • Experience working with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365. • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. • Fluency in Norwegian and English  Additional Information: • Location: On-site at Beijer Ref´s office in Langhus outside of Oslo. • Working hours: 08:00 – 16:00.
