Right now, we are looking for a Commercial real estate specialist to operate the Real Estate Strategy function within Volvo Cars Workplace. You would be a driving force in fulfilling, Volvo Cars Global Real Estate strategy together with a team of specialists and supporting functions. A changing world contributes to an increased need to develop our real estate portfolio fit for company purpose and encourage interaction. This role reports to the Head of Real Estate.
What you’ll do
In the role of Commercial real estate specialist, your main tasks will focus on the buying, selling, and leasing of commercial properties like office spaces and workshops. You will ensure interaction within the company on a global level with relevant stakeholders and interact with external parties, such as property owners, to ensure delivery of the agreed plan.
Part of your responsibilities will also include:
- Developing property evolution and project-leading zoning planning
- Carrying out development strategies and exploitation calculations
- Drawing out exploitation and land assignment agreements
- Assessing compensation for property liability, land, and utility leases
- Carrying out property formations, parceling, and property regulations
- Establishing a basis for decisions in land surveying administration
- Performing sustainability and feasibility studies
- Ensure mobility strategy and adapt infrastructure accordingly
You and your skills
We are looking for someone who has a university degree and solid experience in industrial/commercial real estate. Further, you have a proven track record in leading change on a senior level as well as a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in real estate matters. On a personal side, you are a strong communicator who can build good relationships and cooperate cross-functionally. You are comfortable with driving change throughout an organization and have strong business acumen. You are open to new ideas, take initiative, and have high morals and integrity. Also, you act as a role model and show courage, judgment, and persuasiveness at work. As contracts are in both Swedish and English, you have excellent communication and presentation skills in both of this language (verbal & written)
