As anAWS Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS-based infrastructure and services. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-based solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.

You will work within Iver's AWS Engineering Team to develop our managed platform services for AWS and support customer onboarding. You will also handle incidents related to AWS resources at a Level 3 capacity, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery using tools like GitHub Actions and AWS DevOps tools.
• Implement and manage containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or EKS.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness on AWS.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure best practices in cloud security, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
• Work closely with development teams to implement DevOps practices and align infrastructure with application needs.
• Stay updated on the latest AWS cloud technologies and trends, continuously improving infrastructure setups.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for an AWS enthusiast eager to work as an advisory specialist consultant. You write code or configuration for infrastructure-related components instead of long scripts or manual operations. You think like a software developer but create cloud-native infrastructure.

Our mission is to provide expert advice and solutions for our customers' technical journeys. You’ll be expected to lead both yourself and our customers toward innovative solutions and methods with curiosity and creativity. A passion for the ever-evolving cloud technology landscape is key.

To thrive in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, able to simplify complex IT concepts, and understand the importance of teamwork to achieve goals. Strong business acumen is also essential.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5+ years of experience or equivalent in AWS platform implementation and deployment.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud solutions such as IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless.
• Experience with automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge and experience in network topologies and firewalls.
• Expertise in security practices for infrastructure, applications, IAM, or platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools and platforms such as AWS, Office 365, Power BI, Active Directory, Intune, etc.

Bonus skills:

• Microsoft Certified AWS Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
• AWS Security Engineer Associate certification.

Location

Iver operates in 25 locations across Sweden and Norway. For this role, we expect you to work from one of our offices in Stockholm, Oslo, Malmö or Gothenburg.
