Telescope Services har som konsultbolag sedan början av 2000-talet anställt och flyttat ingenjörer och specialister från hela världen till Sverige. Idag har vi circa 150 stycken utländska ingenjörer på konsultuppdrag hos flertalet av våra olika klienter. Vårt huvudkontor är placerat i Lund, men vi har rekryteringskontor i över 10 olika länder.

Job Description:

What will you do?

• Create, maintain and operate data products based on business requirements and given architectural guidelines

• Provide feedback regarding our operating model, architectural guidance and platform services to continuously improve

Who are you?

We believe you have minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields, that you are familiar with agile methods, fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

• Deep knowledge and passion for modern data architecture principles

• Experience in design, development and operation of data pipelines

• Extensive hands-on experience as Data Engineer in an agile environment

• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

• Pragmatic approach, understanding the trade-offs between the perfect solution and a working solution

• Passion for improving code quality as well as data quality

• Knowledgeable about data modelling, data access and data storage techniques

• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure and AWS)

• Experience in applying data privacy and protection methods/tools

Additionally, knowledge in Software Engineering, System Design, SQL, Orchestration Tools (Aiflow/Prefect/Dagster), Data Streaming (Apache Kafka), CI/CD toolchain, IaC, GitOps, DevOps and Networking is essential.

We also value experience in:

• Applying product thinking when working with data

• Data governance

• Modern data architecture as data mesh

• Familiarity with machine learning pipelines, generative AI and ML pipelines

• Knowledge in data cataloging, observability platforms to ensure data reliability and compliance

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Cassandra
