Job description: Let's introduce ourselvesYou will join ‘SWEP Software Factory’ department within the broad Volvo Cars Engineering organization. We are responsible for development of CI pipelines, SW Flow, Software-In-Loop (SIL) test frameworks, Test rig environments and Data analytics. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Data Architect who will help shape the future of our data landscape and enable data-driven decision-making across the our department and SWEP at large. The location is Lund, Sweden.

You are an experienced software architect with a curious approach to new challenges and a customer-oriented mindset. You can switch focus between the big picture and technical details when required. You enjoy great teamwork and are proactive, creative, and willing to share your experience and knowledge. You are entrepreneurial and have the capacity to drive issues in cooperation with our stakeholders. You can also navigate your way through ambiguous and undefined problems. Solid communication skills, both in written form and in face-to-face meetings are important skills you should possess. You are passionate about data quality, data modelling, and scalable architectures. You have a Master degree / PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. You are self-going with 15+ years of experience in software development and have a data-oriented mindset. Strong background in data analytics and AI/ML. Skills you should have:
