JOB DESCRIPTION
Erasteel is a leading producer of Powder Metallurgy High-Speed Steel for high performance tooling and components. As our new Senior data Engineer you will have the Opportunity to shape the data engineering and analytics practices in a small, dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
YOUR PROFILE
Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Applied Mathematics. Experience in a similar role within a small or startup environment is preferred.
If you are a senior full-stack developer with a strong interest in data engineering—demonstrated through recent projects or certifications—and substantial experience with Azure or AWS, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse skill sets and welcome candidates eager to grow into a dedicated data engineering role.
Technical Expertise:
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with other Azure services like Key Vault, Data Factory or Databricks. Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
Soft skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying challenges and opportunities in the data ecosystem.
Language skills: Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
