Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Head of Central Services (Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash) in Subledger, Finance Business Support.
As our Head of Central Services you will lead the Central Services team comprising of 13 team members that design and execute next generation business processes for Purchase to Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC), Master Data Management (Vendors, Customers), Indirect Tax Accounting, Intercompany AP/AR to ensure best in class efficiency, quality and harmonization across Vattenfall Group. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the process improvements, integrate best practices with end-to-end view, and ensure smooth operational performance. You will become a member of the International Subledger Leadership Team and report to the Director of Subledger.
As Head of Central Services, you will lead and develop the Central Services Team to achieve Subledger's Objectives & Key Results (OKR's), driving strategic initiatives that turn innovative ideas into actionable results. You will act as a change catalyst, actively fostering a culture of innovation both within Subledger and across the broader organization. By inspiring others to embrace new approaches and spearheading transformative solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the department.
The Central Services team plays a key role in leading group-wide and interdisciplinary projects, with a focus on process and system improvements. Your leadership will ensure the successful delivery of these projects, as well as the effective management of both the internal and external control framework for Subledger processes to ensure quality. Additionally, your team provides user trainings in key process areas to the business.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Qualifications
We are looking for a Head of Central Services who has a relevant University degree (e.g. in Business administration, Finance & Accounting, Process Engineer or similar) with over 8 years of process ownership & improvements experience as a senior leader within the Finance function of a multinational organization. You also have a proven track record in benchmarking PTP, OTC and Intercompany processes to optimize efficiency and quality globally. Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written.
