Let´s introduce ourselves   We are strengthening our Digital Procurement team and are looking for talented and experienced procurement professionals to join us. In Procurement, you're a vital member of our global team with the mission to develop and maintain a world-class supplier base. Your role is pivotal in securing materials and services at the optimal cost, quality, and technology levels, crucial for the company´s success.  What are we looking for?  You will be part of our Digital Category Team within the Indirect Procurement organization, reporting to Global Procurement Manager for Digital. You will join an experienced and very diverse team with high ambitions and a warm atmosphere. You will together with our stakeholders drive the digital transformation of our company by supplying the right digital capabilities that enables future ready digital landscape.   We have a global organization with procurement team members in Gothenburg as well as in US and China. We support all the company functions (Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc.) with expertise in Digital procurement, which require a high degree of collaborative skills but also provide major networking opportunities.   We are looking for passionate and dedicated procurement professionals with solid experience within the following areas:  Software Licenses – Proven knowledge in managing complex software license negotiations. Both on a global enterprise level as well as with local and more niched players.  Digital Services & Projects – Sourcing and managing of extensive Services contracts as well as Projects. Proven knowledge from different commercial- and delivery models including managed services, capacity and T&M  In your scope of responsibility will be:  * Take on global responsibility for your dedicated business areas  * Collaborate with our Procurement teams worldwide, including in Shanghai and the USA  * Lead and support cross-functional sourcing projects within the category including preparation, execution, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and contract management  * Proactively work with key business stakeholders to understand your product/service, its market, supply base and potential innovation to find ways to increase value for Volvo Cars - including cost, quality, and sustainability  * Develop and implement category and supplier strategies   * Create and maintain relations with suppliers and stakeholders  * Dare to question status quo or decided routes with stakeholders, suppliers, people; and work proactively to build better understanding and work towards common solutions  * Engagement in some global business travels  What you`ll bring  * A decisive, ambitious mindset, thriving in uncertainty and transformation.  * Strong collaboration skills, enhancing both customer and internal experiences.  * Confidence in leading procurement, building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.  * Fluent in English, comfortable in global settings, and experienced in working with international suppliers.  * Expertise in IT/digital procurement, with proven skills in fact-based negotiations and supplier management.  * A university degree (or equivalent experience); automotive industry knowledge is a plus.  In short, you're a results-driven, strategic leader with global procurement expertise.  If you are an experienced professional within procurement and you can recognize yourself in the requirements profile above, do not hesitate to read more and apply!
