ValueOne is looking for an experienced Interim Procurement Consultant specialized in working with EPC/M type of contract to support our customer in a major industrial project. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible and lasts for twelve months.

As Interim Procurement Consultant you will lead procurement activities for a large investment project. In this role you are expected to contribute to the successful execution of this large-scale project by defining procurement strategies and manage supplier relationships.  

Main tasks:

• Define and oversee the deployment of procurement strategies and tactics, with a focus on market analysis, supply chain capacity, risk assessment, procurement packaging, contract models and the pursuit of cost optimization.
• Initiate pre-qualification for suppliers and contractors, navigate RFx procedures, assess proposals, and sustain partnerships with suppliers.
• Manage the contracting process, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies in collaboration with legal, finance, technical, project and contract management teams.
• Lead negotiations and negotiation teams.
• Work closely with project managers and Project Buyers to ensure deadlines and project schedules are met.
• Cultivate and sustain robust partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in project procurement activities, particularly on large, multi-year investment projects. A strong background in working with EPC/M type contracts and handling procurement in complex, large-scale projects within industries such as infrastructure, construction, or industrial sectors is essential. A proven capability in leading negotiations, managing supplier partnerships, and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams is required as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English are essential, and knowledge of Swedish is a plus. The candidate should be self-motivated, process-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision. A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Construction, Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, is required.
