The position

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales to the industrial aftermarket/MRO in Denmark and Norway. The sales are mainly driven through wholesalers and distributors but also through smaller OEM:s to some extent. Your primary mission is to pursue new customer accounts but also to develop our product lines and finding new business opportunities within existing accounts. Always with a strong customer focus and strong customer relations in mind.

You will be our local Sales Account Manager in this region and therefore you will play a very important part in our growth in this area. Consequently, you will have an independent position in developing our business in your region with the support of Sales European Manager. You will build strategies to follow, set up goals and, in accordance with company price policy develop a suitable price structure for your local market, all in order to extend our business and customer portfolio and enable strong sales opportunities. At your service you will also find a strong administrative support in our sales back-office team based in France.

In this position, you will report to our European Export Manager and be a part of a European team of eight sales area managers. We are committed to finding a convenient and long-term solution for the region and therefore see it appropriate that you start from your home office in Sweden from a region close to either Denmark or Norway. Regular trips of up to 50% of the time occur but you get to plan and organise your time and effort yourself.

Your profile

To match the position, we believe that you have at least three years of experience in sales and business development from a technical field, where experience from areas such as mechanics, automation or power transmission could be an advantage. You have a strong sales track record and enjoy an independent and mobile job. Furthermore, you master a Scandinavian language and English in speech and writing and have a good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

As a person, you succeed in an independent role where you get to plan your time and work effort yourself. You are proactive, result-oriented, enthusiastic and thrive in a position that combines sales and prospecting with a both strategic and operational position. Furthermore, you are a secure and trustworthy person who enjoys challenges, social contacts, and you have strong communication skills.
