We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Coordinator who enjoys systems, processes, and automating processes. The ideal candidate will manage payroll processing, coordinate with outsourced payroll providers, and perform a variety of HR administrative tasks to ensure accurate and efficient operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
What you'll do
Serve as the main point of contact between the company and outsourced payroll providers
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll by coordinating with external payroll providers
Review and verify payroll data, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and taxes
Manage time reporting systems and ensure accurate data entry
Oversee the integration of payroll systems with other HR and financial systems
Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees and outsourced providers
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and audits
Perform HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, onboarding new hires, and managing benefits administration
Support People functions with data management
Collaborate with Finance and People teams to ensure smooth payroll and HR operations
Stay updated on changes in payroll and HR laws and regulations
Who you are
Proven experience in payroll administration and HR administration
Familiarity with payroll software, HRIS platforms, and Excel
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
Knowledge of payroll (and some HR) laws and regulations is a plus
Experience with time reporting systems and system integrations is preferred
